We were tempted to side against KING'S WONDER but will stick with Willie Muir's runner ahead of the likes of Dazed and Amazed and North South Divide. The selection's impressive win came at Kempton and he has never finished out of the money on five starts on artificial surface whereas he has only brought home a slice of the bacon once on turf when filling third behind the smart Ibn Khaldun on his second start. His proximity that day clearly flattered him but it does prove that he can act on the surface and it may just be that he's taken until now to get his act together. There are a number of others with possibilities as one would expect but we will nominate Dazed and Amazed and North South Divide as two to have on side. A leap of faith is required to side with the Hannon runner given his three latest runs but he's undoubtedly well handicapped on his best form and ran one of his better recent races here in May. North South Divide has been a consistent performer and finished runner-up in a similar contest over course and distance in May from just a 2lb lower mark. He's entitled to come on for his reappearance and makes some each-way appeal but King's Wonder gets the vote.
