FLUTE MAGIC can prolong the frustrating sequences of Zebrano and Admiral Sandhoe. Ryan Moore rides this track particularly well and his booking for Stuart Kittow's son of Piccolo really takes the eye. The colt has been absent since June but showed enough on his two outings to suggest that he can take a race of this nature. On the last of his two runs he may have been beaten seven lengths but the winner went on to land the Superlative Stakes; market support for his chances would be particularly encouraging. Admiral Sandhoe and Zebrano will surely have a race come their way before the season is out but they may not be open to as much improvement as their lightly raced foes. There is little to choose between the pair but marginal preference is for the Perrett runner as her juveniles are finishing the season strongly. Ailsa Craig and Squad may be able to get into the shake-up but Flute Magic can call the tune.
