Many chances held with Fool On The Hill, Wait for the Will and Brilliant Red all making the shortlist. Fool On The Hill stays this trip and quite literally no further. He beat a decent sort in Adjawar and there should be no problem with the track as he previously finished second over course and distance in an Amateurs handicap. Wait For The Will returns from a spell over hurdles. He is a notoriously tricky customer and it is highly likely that he will come there near the finish seemingly swinging off the bridle. The right man for the job is on board but the horse will be the only decider of his fate tonight. Brilliant Red is a tough campaigner who is difficult to dislike. A useful handicapper on the polytrack at Lingfield Park; he has a couple of questions to answer over twelve furlongs. Saint Alebe won the March Handicap at Newmarket at the beginning of the season. He has subsequently disappointed although the second in that race has ran two great races in defeat to Landing Light and latterly, Barolo at York. Skylarker and Exodus look hard to fancy while Scenic Lady's best performances have come in lesser grade. In a tricky race, our narrow selection is for Gerald Cotterill's Fool On The Hill.
