A tough sprint handicap to finish the card and the vote goes to ISLAND LEGEND ahead of Tiger Trail and Peopleton Brook. The selection hails from the Milton Bradley yard that do well with their sprinters. The yard has been a little quiet on the winner's front but some of their horses have been running well. Island Flyer did not show a whole lot at three but put in an improved effort for his first run at four. He ran in a really competitive race for the grade on his seasonal reappearance and acquitted himself well. He should now strip fitter today and we expect him to be in the shake up today. Tiger Trail is another that made an encouraging seasonal pipe opener behind a real improver. He was only beaten half a length that day and finished ahead of the short priced favourite. So with progression very likely he is another that should go well. Peopleton Brook flew home in a half decent hands and hells race at Newmarket on his last start. That was a decent run but if the step down in trip is a concern. Others to note in a competitive race are The Lord and Thoughtsofstardom but Island Legend gets the nod.
