Great Beyond finished fourth over today’s trip at Thirsk on his reappearance and looks sure to make a bold bid. But CRYSTAL KING is expected to improve over this extra distance having finished four lengths behind a couple of subsequent winners at Newmarket last time and Sir Michael Stoute’s Frankel colt gets the vote to open his account. Supernova is of interest on his return having shown promise in both starts last year while Sarim caught the eye making up late ground at Bath on his debut and Mobham, a half-brother to a Group 3 winner, is preferred of the newcomers.
