Izzi Top landed her first Group 1 in the Pretty Polly at the Curragh last month and is likely to start favourite for the all-conquering Gosden yard as she may not have finished improving yet. Nahrain made her comeback over a mile at the Royal Ascot meeting and she's a leading contender on last year's nose defeat of Announce in the Prix De L'Opera at Longchamp. The latter had previously won a Group 1 at Deauville when just getting the better of TIMEPIECE. Sir Henry Cecil's mare has been way below par so far this season but she gets another chance to show her best here and emulate retired stablemate Midday, who landed a famous hat-trick of wins in this race last year. The three-year-olds Was and another Gosden runner, The Fugue, have both been beaten since finishing first and third respectively in the Oaks at Epsom and they'll need to take another step forward against these older horses while Clinical, Lay Time and Sea Of Heartbreak also have something to find in a cracking renewal.
