Tranquil Sky represents solid nursery form but faces some unexposed rivals including Ticker Tape and Truly Wonderful, with the last mentioned getting the vote. Mick Channon's record in this type of event is second to none and, having opened her account over an inadequate five furlongs, the daughter of Highest Honor is taken to follow up. Top weight Oro Verde lost no caste in defeat behind the useful First Order at Bath last time but is not certain to appreciate today's longer trip. The distance should pose no problems for the stoutly-bred Ticker Tape and Jamie Osborne's filly has to be respected, as does Happy Crusader for who Kieren Fallon has been booked. With Ed Dunlop's team continuing to struggle, Menfee looks one to avoid like the plague and more solid claims are held by Mark Johnston's pair Always Flying and Annabel Lee, who hail from a stable that can do little wrong at present. However, Truly Wonderful has solid claims and gets the verdict in a trappy contest.
