David Nicholls appears to have a stranglehold on this finale with four runners including the amazing Zuhair who won the handicap on Wednesday representing the North Yorkshire handler. Zuhair should go well but this sixth furlong might be even more to the liking of stable companion Flak Jacket, who also has a good record at Goodwood and ran fourth to Zuhair on Wednesday. The other Nicholls' runners Compton arrow and Loyal Tycoon are also entitled to respect along with topweight Carlton, who holds his form well and is a rare runner here for handler John Quinn.
