Iffraaj may have a Group 1 penalty to carry but Godolphin's five-year-old showed he was back to something like his best when just failing to collar Les Arcs in the July Cup last month and is taken to go one better here at the main expense of Jeremy and Etlaala. The last mentioned has bounced back to form this season but is held by the selection on running at Newmarket so he may be booked for a place at best. Mark Johnston's Prince of Light looks to be going the right way but may not be as effective back down in distance, while Jedburgh looks to be out of his depth in this company. Nayyir is probably not as good as he once was and a bigger threat seems likely to come from Sir Michael Stoute's Jeremy, who is going through the ranks having won a Listed race and Group 3 contest in his last two starts. This is tougher though and Iffraaj is taken to show his class.
