Mark Johnston does well with his runners at this meeting so his two representatives here Crosspeace and I'm So Lucky have to be respected but both look to have their fair share of weight and preference is for recent Newbury winner Salinja. Amanda Perrett's gelding was all out to win at the Berkshire venue but that was over a mile and he is better over this trip and has solid claims back over this trip off just a 3lb higher mark than at Newbury. John Dunlop's Coup d'Etat has not been beaten far in his last two starts and is entitled to be thereabouts again, while Tabadul has been running well on sand of late but may not be as effective back on turf. Optimus disappointed at Ascot last time and may now be best watched, while Ofaraby is hard to win with and a bigger threat may come from Willie Muir's Impeller, who is capable on the pick of his from. Salinja is in good heart at present though and remains potentially well treated so he gets the vote.
