Linas Selection is preferred to Luberon of Mark Johnston's two runners and gets the vote with Savannah rated the best of the remainder. The selection could hardly be in better form at present as he comes here on the back of wins in handicaps at Sandown, Royal Ascot and York, the last two of which were taking performances in valuable races. The son of Selkirk looks more than ready for the step up to Group 3 company and is expected to complete a four timer. Sixties Icon was not disgraced in the King Edward at the royal meeting but may not be as progressive as the selection, while Hazeymm looks fully exposed now although he does come from a yard in good form. There may be more to come from Jadalee but he looks booked for a place at best, while Classic Punch may already want further and of more interest may be Aidan O'Brien's lightly raced Savannah, who looks to be going the right way but needs to improve. Linas Selection is clearly progressive though and he gets the vote.
