Demot Weld has won this six times in the past eleven years and relies on MAHAAZEN, who looked as though the experience would do her the world of good when runner-up to La Collina at Limerick. The winner has since finished a close second in a Group 3 so the form looks fair and the daughter of Cape Cross can continue her yard's amazing sequence. Redoutable made a promising start over this trip at the Curragh then found a shorter trip on quicker going against her and should do better here. She holds Soon on that opening effort but the latter was badly in need of the run that day and can turn the tables. Silver Sycamore made a bright start behind Yellow Rosebud at Leopardstown but will need to find more and the winner is trained by Weld, who will know how he stands with the form. Jemima's Pearl has done nothing wrong against strong opposition and is by no means out of this.
