SANDS COVE probably didn't have much to beat on his debut at Roscommon but never got out of second gear and came home 10l to the good. He's the one to beat here despite meeting better opposition who include Leah's Dream, who stayed on very strongly to make a winning start at Listowel. Murchu disappointed at Naas after looking a very bright prospect at Listowel while the progressive Valleymount may just need this after an absence since April. Bridgets Pet is another on the upgrade as he showed with a very impressive success at Downpatrick a month ago.
