Verdict

Penchesco was pipped at the post by today's rival James Pollard over C&D last week. They're hard to separate here, though Aine's Delight registered a C&D hat trick earlier this year and could get the better of both today. Kahfre will have come on for his recent reappearance in a better race at Chepstow and can figure, but ROCK OF DEAUVILLE makes more appeal. He too was making his seasonal debut at Cheltenham last week when a disappointing favourite, but with that run under his belt and a 10lb claimer to ease his burden, Paul Nicholls' charge can make amends.
