ALPHA RIDGE, a Grade 2 winning hurdler and a close runner-up to the classy China Rock in this two years ago, has failed to build on that though he's been racing at a much higher level. Hopefully he can start to resurrect his career here but is hardly one to put absolute trust in. Last Instalment completed an unusual hat-trick in a point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle and continued to make progress before a poor run at Punchestown in May. He's just the type to make a chaser and must be a big threat. Fists Of Fury ran well in a Grade 1 hurdle at Aintree in April and will have come on nicely for his opening run over fences at Punchestown. He can go well along with Lonesome Dove, a progressive hurdler with the pedigree to make it over the bigger obstacles.
