No Patience has been running well but is 13lb higher than when scoring at Roscommon under today's rider, who claimed 3lb less that day. His trainer has another chance with Fastman, well behind in the Roscommon event but much improved in recent starts. TALL STORY's form figures suggest he has little chance here but he began to improve when the ground turned soft last autumn and he's been racing over longer trips on quicker going so gets a tentative vote in a tricky handicap. Pimstrel finished just over a length behind Angel's Trumpet over a mile at Gowran but is 4lb better off and led until the final furlong so should reverse the form. Manhattan Dandy continues to run well from this sort of mark but a strike-rate of 0-34 tells a story.
