In depth

Verdict

NINE ELMS has improved for the application of blinkers and returned a convincing three-length winner at Nottingham . The runner-up has subsequently won so the form looks solid and Roy Bowring’s charge should go close again. Kingdom Girl narrowly got the better of the consistent At Liberty when winning a maiden handicap at Yarmouth while Mrs Meader won over today’s trip at Newbury before beaten over further. Jeanette May and Morani Kali look best of the rest having placed on the all-weather last time.
