Joseph O'Brien won this last year and Lumiere Rock showed up well on ground probably a bit quick for her at Naas. The stable also run Perfect Portrait, a daughter of Zoffany out of a Listed winner. Starry Heavens couldn't quite go the pace at Leopardstown but battled on while Roman Moon improved again when headed inside the final furlong over this track and trip. Kevin Manning rides the latter again rather than Aurifodina, who has been looking one-paced. KEEP IN TOUCH made a promising debut at Naas and started favourite for a maiden at the Festival but got no sort of run - she can recoup losses today.
