Saltonstall won this in 2019/20 but was unplaced the following two years and his stable has six other options with Celtic Crown possibly the best of them having recently easily beating stablemate Cordoaun at Leopardstown. A three-year-old hasn't won this since 2004 but Aidan O'Brien would have had plenty of options for the race and Salt Lake City makes a quick reappearance after a decent effort in the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes at Leopardstown last week. Blues Emperor beat subsequent winner Navagio at Naas then completed a double in a premier handicap at the Curragh so looks certain to go well and he just holds stablemate Rahmi on that latter run. COEUR D'OR went up 10lb for an easy victory in a Leopardstown handicap but ran another fine race there in the Nasrullah Handicap and can return to winning ways. Alanya made a very impressive debut for Tom Gibney at the Curragh and could be anything after just four runs.
