Glor Tire didn't quite get the run of the race when runner-up at Leopardstown when subsequent winner Brilliant was third. The latter's yard is represented by MAYFAIR, by Justify out of Group 1 winner Clemmie who produced a winner with her first offspring. With her yard in top form, Purple Lily, who cost €155,000 at the Gorsebridge Breeze-up, could prove a major threat while Tannola, a half-sister to five winners, has probably been aimed at this and her yard won it with the brilliant Tahiyra a year ago. Kalispera never got involved at Leopardstown but will have come on a bundle for the experience.
