Verdict

Willie Mullins saddles four here with Paul Townend choosing ABSURDE. He arrived from France having won twice on the Flat and looked one to follow when easily landing a Killarney novices' hurdle. Runner-up to Vauban in a Class 2 handicap back on the level at Royal Ascot, he'll take some beating here. Stablemates Space Tourist and Williamstowndancer are both on hat-tricks and by no means here to play second fiddle while Arctic Fly was impressive in a Punchestown maiden. Triple bumper winner Castra Vetera got back on track when scoring at Kilbeggan and could prove best of the remainder.
