In depth

Verdict

The next race on the card is a competitive contest and the very tentative vote goes to COLONIAL JIM ahead of Pearly Star and Osokenda. The selection ran disappointingly on its last start but you can ignore that as it was on very bad ground. The return to a sounder surface will suit and this course and distance winner should go well. Pearly Star is another is another course and distance winner who has been in decent form of late. It will be tough for him to win from his revised mark but at least he knows where the winning post is on this track. Osokenda is another who was unsuited by the heavy going on his last start. His mark of 88 still seems very winnable from and Nick Scholfied again gets the leg up on a horse who he gets on well with. Others to note in this race are Play A Cord, Alldunnandusted and Command Marshal but a very tentative vote goes to Colonial Jim.
