This is a poor contest and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Jim Best's consistent Forzacurity, who is preferred to stablemate Dundridge Native and Hum. The last mentioned had no luck when last seen, being brought down at the sixth flight, but earlier form is respectable in the context of this contest so he has to be respected. Milton Bradley does not have many runners over hurdles and neither of his two runners here Davy's Luck nor Beths Choice make much appeal. The Evan Williams-trained Pound Sign is less exposed than most and has to be considered along with Lanos, for who Jamie Moore has been booked. Dundridge Native is probably better than recent starts would suggest and he takes a drop in class for his reappearance but preference is for Forzacurity, who would not be winning out of turn.
