High Gear and Frederic Forever are the two that we expect to be fighting this one out at the finish and the vote is given to High Gear. The selection has got plenty of decent form over hurdles in Ireland and he looks worth supporting on his first run for Jonjo O'Neill. The presence of AP McCoy in the saddle is another plus and he should take plenty of beating. Frederic Forever rates the main danger as he won well over this course and distance last time when beating Watch The Dove. He goes especially well at this track but this looks a more difficult race and for that reason he is narrowly passed over. Withthelads is the other that could get competitive as he made a promising chasing debut when second Gumley Gale. However, he was well beaten that day and he is unproven over this longer trip. The rest will have to improve to trouble the principles and for the winner we return to High Gear.
