Verdict

Marcel looks to have plenty in his favour here and is given the vote at the main expense of Assoon and Kirov King. The selection won well last time out when comfortably beating Groesfaen Lad and although he is steadily rising in the weights, he won with plenty in hand last time and again has conditions to suit so should take plenty of beating. Assoon won well when defeating Canatrice last time and with the step up in trip not expected to be a problem he should go well. Kirov King won well on his debut over this course and distance when beating Chevronne and he has to be respected. However, he could be vulnerable under a penalty and for that reason he is passed over. Wizard of the West looks the best of the remainder but he looks more exposed than some of these and for the winner we return to Marcel.
