Shantou Master made a winning start under Rules here but the placed horses haven’t franked the form so he may be vulnerable under his penalty. Escapability has placed in four of his six starts over hurdles, including a couple of handicaps, and should be thereabouts again but we’ve a narrow preference for FLOATING ROCK, who boasts a similar record and didn’t quite get home over a longer trip on his reappearance having travelled strongly until the home turn. Some Might Say won a bumper here last month but that race was run at a crawl and she got first run on her rivals.
