STOICAL PATIENT has been transformed by a change of scenery having won three times over fences since joining Gary Moore. He's scored with plenty in hand on each occasion, including twice around here, and a 9lb rise is unlikely to prevent a four-timer. Spock isn't the most consistent but has managed to win six times over fences including over slightly shorter here in May from exactly the same mark. Auenwirbel won seven times over hurdles and once over fences in France. He's been performing at a slightly higher level in the UK and now at a more realistic level can make his presence felt. Spiritofchartwell has run three times around here in recent weeks, winning twice, and the former point-to-pointer has to be a threat from just 3lb higher than his latest victory and Katy Lyons again claiming her 7lb allowance.
