Marettimo stayed on nicely into fourth behind Thounder at Wincanton but was then beaten a long way into second at Ludlow and may need further. All-weather winner Ladofash wasn't far behind Thounder when fifth in a similar race to this here last month though was receiving plenty of weight and Arcaro, who was sixth, weakened quickly after the second last.
