Verdict
Marettimo stayed on nicely into fourth behind Thounder at Wincanton but was then beaten a long way into second at Ludlow and may need further. All-weather winner Ladofash wasn't far behind Thounder when fifth in a similar race to this here last month though was receiving plenty of weight and Arcaro, who was sixth, weakened quickly after the second last. Hold Me Tight has been beaten a long way in both starts over timber including when runner-up at Exeter while Aiguille Rouge, who was placed on the Flat in France, couldn't justify strong support on his hurdling bow at Fakenham when well beaten. COMRADE CONRAD made a successful debut for Roger Charlton at Windsor in April but didn't progress as expected. He's joined Dan Skelton and can make a winning start over timber in what looks a moderate maiden.
