Verdict

Postmaster deserves to get his head in front having found one too good in each of his last seven starts and having only once been out of the frame since joining Evan Williams but he may have to settle for silver again with LIGHT YIELD looking to have solid claims and getting the vote over Smoke And Mirrors. Charlie Egerton's gelding was pulled up on his most recent start over hurdles at Cheltenham in April but, after just six previous starts, Charlie Egerton has been quick to put him over fences and he has to be of interest. Neil Mulholland's I'm A Legend has disappointed in his last two starts but has claims on his earlier form so cannot be completely ruled out. There is little to recommend either Drombeg Pride or An Fear Liath, neither of who are yet to even be placed let alone win a race and it is Light Yield that gets the vote. Lucy Wadham's gelding was capable over hurdles and made a pleasing debut over fences when a close third behind I Have Dreamed at Huntingdon in April. With further improvement expected to come for that outing Light Yield looks worth chancing here.
