Verdict
This is a poor contest that should not take a great deal of winning and, having slipped to a low mark and run well when chasing home Milton Des Bieffes at Worcester recently, it is MILLENIUM MAG that gets the vote to resume winning ways with the main threats rated as Mr McGonagle and Proper Article. The last mentioned has only had three runs since joining Evan Williams and has been given a chance by the handicapper having been dropped another 5lbs for his most recent start but he does need to improve on recent form to trouble the judge. Jamie Snowden's Pastek has been well held in all six starts so far, while Present Oriented has given no sign of encouragement in recent starts. Mr McGonagle ran slightly better in a maiden chase at Perth last time and has to be considered but, in a poor contest, it is Millenium Mag that gets the vote.
