Jackblack was receiving plenty of weight from the runner-up when taking a three-runner race here last month and the boot is on the other foot here. Amadoue is slowly improving while Legal Ok showed promise at Sandown in March and was too keen in a better race at Ascot next time. White Valiant and Lubatic have winning form in bumpers but the latter’s yard is also represented by dual flat winner THE DETAINEE and he could be the one to beat on ground that suits. Thisonetime was second three times in five starts last season but needs forgiving a shocking effort in the last of those in April.
