Verdict
Royal Battalion runs his best races here but was an early casualty on his latest visit and is hard to win with nowadays. Resolution Bay has only run six times over hurdles and won twice. He hasn’t raced since May but has more scope than the majority of these. RAMSES DE TEILLEE is still a maiden but there are races to be won with the son of Martaline, a brother to a winning chaser in France, and it’s interesting that David Pipe is persevering in handicaps when there would be easier options in novice company. He’s preferred to stablemate Bambi Du Noyer and the exposed Cillian's Well, though Workbench would be a danger on his best form.
