Verdict

Kempton winner REBEL ROYAL was just beaten over this trip under a penalty at Worcester in May. This is no straightforward task but Dan Skelton’s charge can resume winning ways ahead of Commanche Red, a useful bumper winner making his hurdling debut, and Dorking Cock, another likely improver now going hurdling. White Valiant has done most of his racing here and won a bumper but he’ll need to settle better than he did in a maiden here in the spring.
