Truly Fruitful showed improved form when winning a selling hurdle at Southwell last time in August and Richard Newland's gelding has to be respected here but preference in a competitive claimer is for ATTRAPEUR, who gets the vote ahead of Miss Skippy. Tony Newcombe's mare has disappointed in handicaps of late but she was a narrow winner of a seller at Newton Abbot two starts ago and in this grade has claims. Bernard Llewellyn's Olivino has been in good form this season, winning three times in handicaps at Wetherby and twice at Newton Abbot, but he has been punished by the handicapper for those successes so it is no surprise to see him being dropped into this grade. Danish Monarch has won a couple of handicaps for Andy Haynes this term and he is another to consider in this company, while Kim Bailey's The Good Guy faces no easy task giving weight away all round. Preference though is for Andrew Boxhall's Attrapeur, who has shown improved form of late, including over fences last time, and he looks worth siding with being dropped into a claimer for the first time.
