BAHAMIAN CEILIDH may be able to lead her rivals a merry dance although the likes of Today's The Day, Abbey Belle, Chasca, Peninsula Girl and May Martin all enter calculations. The race in which the selection made her debut for this yard at Yarmouth featured a couple of above average sorts so there was no disgrace in her run which saw her fade into fourth having made much of the running. She was dropped by 2lbs for that run which should have brought her on and it's possible that this first attempt at six will bring about a little improvement. Today's The Day has been consistently frustrating but has more than enough ability to trouble the best of these if Philip Robinson can coax a maximum effort out of her but a minor role could be on the cards. May Martin was expected to play more than a minor role at Yarmouth but missed the break, as she has done on all three starts, and never got competitive. Peninsula Girl needs to find some improvement but it would be folly to dismiss the chances of this unexposed filly from a powerful yard but of more interest is Chasca who ran better than the bare form suggests in a slowly run race at Lingfield. Abbey Belle is worth a look on debut for Ian Williams as she should win races from her current mark if she's trained on but we'll put forwards Bahamian Ceilidh.
