Danehill Stroller is the pick over Ever Cheerful, with Majestical and Tantien two others to note. Danehill Stroller does not win too often, but shaped well when second in a Newbury seller a fortnight ago, on what was his first outing since December. This race is a not much better, and as he should strip fitter, is selected to gain a fourth career success. Ever Cheerful has his first outing on Turf for two years, and has been off since March when he failed to peg back the all-the-way winner Marmooq in what was a similar race to this. He is entitled to be there or thereabouts and is the other for the short-list. The market should tell us more about the chances of the rest, including Majestical, a handicap winner on his first outing for Vince Smith at Wolverhampton last month, but beaten twice since. Tantien has taken time to come to hand, and is best watched again, with preference for Danehill Stroller.
