Gypsy Baby can make experience count over Carnival Queen, King Bathwick and The Betchworth Kid. The form choice here is definitely Gypsy Baby on the strength of two decent efforts so far, at Newbury and Kempton. Richard Hannon's filly was sent off favourite last time, but found one too good in the shape of the well-regarded Michael Jarvis inmate Dixey, and there is nothing of that calibre amongst those to have raced so far. She need not improve too much to go one better, and is the one to beat. Carnival Queen is owned by the Cheveley Park Stud and is sure to go well, but she will not be rushed and is one for the future really. King Bathwick has had two outings over shorter at Lingfield, and this son of Golan will appreciate the longer journey, so could figure, while of the rest, Michael Bell, who won this last year with Fuji, introduces The Betchworth Kid who did a nice piece of work under Hayley Turner on the Limekilns on Saturday. The Fitzroy House handler has yet to send out a juvenile winner this term, but this fellow is reckoned plenty sharp enough. However, with experience to call on, we return to Gypsy Baby as the answer.
