The third race on the card is a seven runner sprint handicap and BEAT THE BELL is given one more chance to put last Saturday's disappointment behind him ahead of Another Try and Cornus. The selection was not aloud to dominant his last start which certainly did not help his chances but he still ran ok. I think he will be able to dominate from the get go today and could take catching if bagging the near side rail. Jamie Osborne's horse has gone up in the ratings but may still be able to win again. Another Try is has been holding his all weather form well but is a capable type on the turf. He is well positioned to launch his early attack in stall one and should also go well. Cornus has been in very good form of late winning his last two starts but they were in bigger field handicaps. His style of running will not be suited by this track and field size but he remains in good form. Any move for White Shift and Kieran Fallon should be noted as he is weighted to win again. He won around this time last year so the former champion jockey is a very eye catching booking.
