From a short list containing Gift Aid, Forces Sweetheart and Arculinge, we will side with Gift Aid. Given that things seemed to happen a little quickly for him last time, Gift Aid, who still ran well that day at Bath, will maybe appreciate today's six-furlong trip a bit better. Suffice it to say that he ought to go well in what is a modest event. Bollywood has not been beaten that far in similar types of events - if not stronger in fact - in each of his last two runs and, from a dropping mark, can't be ruled out in what is a very modest handicap. A first-time visor sweetened up Forces Sweetheart at Yarmouth last time and, if it works again, she is a danger to all, while Arculinge has not been that far away from around today's mark of late and is another to consider. Hot Agnes is maybe one to watch in the betting, but Indian Lady has become disappointing. Mine The Balance's best efforts do not rule him out but these have so far come on the all-weather, while Alwariah's best recent run came here over seven furlongs, but his overall profile is hardly totally convincing. Once again, then, in a modest race, the vote goes to Gift Aid.
