Portodora heads the short-list from Divine Power and Benedetto. Eternal Luck has questions to answer now as does Andaman Sunset whose connections resort to cheekpieces in an attempt to tap into his potential. Benedetto appears to handle give in the ground but his latest win came on firm and he's burdened with another 6lbs this evening which makes him opposable on balance. Divine Power drops in grade which should enable her to be more competitive than at Sandown. She has progressed steadily throughout the summer and may not be done with yet. However, preference is for Portodora who had no chance behind the potentially smart Kalahari Gold last time but meets nothing with that potential here. She ran well on soft ground on debut so should handle underfoot conditions and looks sure to be involved. Henry Cecil is a rare visitor here but has a fair strike rate when he does and Portodora can provide him with another winner.
