Our Acquaintance probably brings the best form to the table and he gets the nod ahead of the exposed Maybe I Wont and potential improvers Good Gorson and Flashy Photon. William Muir has his horses in decent form and his Bahamian Bounty colt has shaped with plenty of promise on all three starts to date. Whilst it is disappointing that he has let down favourite backers twice in succession, there appears to be more to come and possibly if adopting slightly less aggressive tactics, a win could be imminent. Maiden Miss is another who let down supporters when last seen but it may be too early to write her off, whilst Zarees and Flashy Photon both made their debuts in decent maidens and should have learnt from the experience as neither was given a hard time when beaten. Hucking Hero was third last time out but may prove more of a danger to the commentator than the judge, so of more interest may be Good Gorson. Well-fancied in a fair maiden at Newbury, Barry Hills' charge should be all the better for that run and rates a danger. The betting will help regarding the newcomers, however Our Acquaintance is fancied to score.
