More madness than beauty in this handicap however Mick Quinlan's charge has claims as he is consistent. Unfortunately that is not enough and so the vote goes to Mr Forthright ahead of Darling Belinda. Milton Bradley's colt will be suited by the rain that is falling around the country and has won two of his last five starts. He does have a worrying tendency to start slowly but if he breaks on terms then he should go close, especially as the handicapper hasn't been able to raise him too much for his successes as they were gained by narrow margins. Minnow and Rosie Cross have both tasted success on an artificial surface but neither appears to be as proficient on the green stuff. Darling Belinda is consistent, but again is another who is yet to prove herself on turf. However she has only had one start on the grass so there should be improvement to come. Kilvickeon will pop up at some point but is unreliable so cannot be put forward with any confidence, so of more interest may be Beautiful Madness. Quick ground suits best so he wouldn't want any further showers, however Mr Forthright is fancied to further improve his recent strike-rate.
