Don't read too much into the defeat of Regency Red at Wolverhampton on Monday as that was over an inadequate trip and back over 1m 4f Mark Brisbourne's runner is the selection here ahead of Revolving World, Red Sun and Halland. The selection was asked too many questions over that shorter trip the other day and could not provide the answers but is far better suited to 12f. He won over c&d in June and is only 2lb higher here, so with solid enough form to bring to a contest like this he gets the nod. Revolving World took a fast ground selling handicap at Ripon last time but a 6lb rise for that success will probably make a follow up beyond him. Red Sun is back below his last winning mark but he needs further than this to be seen to best effect, and a better proposition may be Halland, whose best form would give him a clear chance at these weights, although he is firmly on the downgrade. But Regency Red has plenty going for him here and is the selection.
