Verdict
Eve Johnson Houghton's runners are in good nick and Nightspot can provide her with another winner here ahead of Ravarino, Riley Boys and Idle No More. The selection was a decisive Kempton scorer over 11f last time but has already won over this trip earlier in the campaign so the drop back won't be a problem. The gelding has a good draw and 7lb off his back from the claimer on board so there is plenty to suggest he can follow up. C&D scorer Riley Boys has conditions to suit but is 7lb higher than when scoring here in June 2006, which was his latest success. He will be hard pressed to return to winning ways from this mark. Ravarino was another decisive scorer at Lingfield last time and can go well from an 8lb higher mark, while Idle No More looked a bit of a monkey last time and whether the handicapper has got his assessment right will be in evidence here. Habalwatan drops in grade and can be more competitive now but Nightspot is the one to be on.
