Lytham and English Archer look the two to concentrate on in this weak handicap (no better than a seller) and the tentative nomination goes to recent winner Lytham. Whilst the selection's recent win came in a weak contest on the all-weather, this hardly looks any stronger and so he looks sure to go well. It is slightly disconcerting that he is yet to win in nine turf starts, however jockey Vince Slattery gets on well with the horse and they can team up for another victory. English Archer seemed slightly anchored down by a 3lb rise in the weights last time out having scored on good to soft at Hamilton in July, but he may be a force here as he wasn't beaten that far and wouldn't mind any rain that may fall. Alqaayid and Prince Of Medina are both inconsistent so cannot be put forward with any confidence, whilst Amnesty has winning course form so should be respected off a reasonable mark. Harcourt has been woefully out of form of late but looks dangerously well-handicapped so market support would speak volumes, however Lytham is fancied to extend his winning streak to two.
