Verdict

A poor turnout from the fifteen entries at the five-days. Kahyasi Princess, who is from the same family as Tattersalls Gold Cup winner Rebelline, makes the long trip south and wouldn't have to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut. Sea Ridge had the run of the race when runner-up in a maiden here at the last meeting and may be a shade flattered. However, that was her first outing and she is open to improvement. The one they all have to beat is Choral Chimes, who comes from a family littered with staying types. She will be well suited by this step up in trip and is taken to enhance her paddock value.
