In depth

Verdict

It is hard to get away from the chances of Avitta, who just needs to put in a clear round, Adelphi Theatre and Pass Me A Dime could be the two to fight for second spot. The Venetia Williams trained mare was hard to win with over hurdles but has taken really well to fencing, easily landing events at Uttoxeter and Haydock. This is no stronger than either of those races and a hat-trick should be a formality. Adelphi Theatre is an interesting recruit to chasing having been at top rated at 124 over hurdles. A couple of recent spins on the flat should have blown away the cobwebs and he could be the one for the forecast. Pass Me A Dime should be the best of the remainder. Lightly raced over hurdles, he has plenty of scope for improvement over the larger obstacles. The other two make little appeal and so it looks an easy task for Avitta to make it three wins on the bounce.
