In depth

Verdict

This is a very modest handicap chase and Hill Forts Henry should be good enough to land first prize, Chancers Dante and Ebony Jack look to be the main dangers. The selection came up against a rejuvenated Five Alley at Plumpton last time. He was comfortably held, but as the third was 30 lengths away it could be decent enough form in the context of this event. Chancers Dante hails from ferdy Murphy's in form yard and although he is only very moderate he is weighted accordingly and should be good enough to take a hand in the finish. Ebony Jack can be given some sort of a chance on the pick of last season's form, but Hills Fort Henry will not get many easier chances than this and is a confident choice to land first prize.
