In depth

Verdict

Snakebite was very highly rated by the stable last season and can make a winning debut over hurdles, Idris and Inaro are also expected to go well. Mark Pitman's five-year-old didn't totally live up to his reputation in bumpers last term, but still put in some very useful displays. The stable is of course flying at present and it would be no surprise to see this one make into a decent hurdler. Idris chased home the useful Mikado Melody at Lingfield last time, and although not too consistent, should be capable of getting into the frame again. Inaro beat the useful High Altitude in a bumper last season and looked in need of a recent effort in the same sphere. He should be spot on for this his hurdles debut and must go well under Tony McCoy. With Glasker Mill and Killaghy Castle in the line up as well it will be a difficult task for Snakebite, but he should make a bold effort.
