Tableau Vivant has been found a winnable opportunity and is selected ahead of Deira Dubai and Sheer Bluff in this modest contest. The last named made a very promising return earlier in the season but has seemingly lost his way a touch. Still, this is easier than the handicaps he has been running in of late an improved effort may be forthcoming. Deira Dubai has been consistent, if not spectacular and deserves to find a race at some point. She does herself no favours by running too freely on occasions, though. And that has to be a concern again today. However, Richard Quinn is more than capable of getting her into a rhythm, if she is in a cooperative mood and the Barry Hills-trained filly should not be underestimated. Nevertheless, Tableau Vivant has been banging on the door of late and, as she would be conceding upwards of 5lb to the rest, she has a serious chance of ridding herself of her maiden tag today.
